Group for Nature Preservation and Education (GNAPE) and ECOTONEinviteentries for this contest having the underlying theme "Nature inall itssplendour". Images of Indian wildlife including animals, plantsandlandscapes will qualify.
Entry to the contest is free. Last date for submission of entries is13th January 2005.
30 images will be short listed as finalists. These images will beprinted as enlargements and displayed at a public exhibition inChennai,to be held in February 2005. The announcement of winners will be doneatthe exhibition.
GNAPE and ECOTONE hope to encourage people to step outdoors,appreciatethe nuances of nature and capture its beauty as photographs. Thiscontest will also serve as a platform for photographers to showcasetheir work.
Entries will be accepted in the form of transparencies (slides) orprints of 8in X 12in size.It is essential to attach a copy of the fully completed applicationformfor the competition along with the entries.
